Everyone is biased, if your from the east coast youll say rachel is better, if your from the west coast youll favor zenyatta. Its not fair to compare them untill they race. There both extremely talented and to knock any 1 of them is just a shame. Also rachel didnt win horse of the year over zenyatta for nothing, she ran in bigger races, vs bigger horses. yes zenyatta raced in the classic, but that was arguably the worste classic field in a while. This year has potential to be one of the best fields ever. Personally I dont think zenyatta beats rachel. zenyatta comes from the back and rachel stays in first the whole way and then pulls away. so when zenyatta makes her move to catch rachel in first, rachel will already be pulling away even farther in first then she was. the only benefit zenyatta has is the longer distance. everyone mocked rachel for running at monmouth park, but how about zenyatta? can she run out of california? can she run bigger races vs the best horses. i mean she is undefeated for her career and is talked about as maybe the best filly ever, therfor she should be racing against top level horses in every single race she enters. people say rachel ducks zenyatta, rachel was waiting at saratoga and zenyattas connections opted to stay at delmar, of course cause god for bid she races out of cali, or puts herself up to a tru test (rachel), why have to travel to the east coast twice, leave her at toga untill the breeders or ship her to churchill right after the saratoga race. its likely her last race before the breeders and the breeders will be the last of her career. Here i go doing what i didnt want to and knocking a horse, really zenyatta is a very talented horse, but so is rachel. Rachel gets less credit because she lost twice this year, well as i said who has zenyatta raced this year? not to mention all of her wins are by a neck. She cant stalk the pace or win by more because she doesnt have it in her, she has one late charge and thats around the final turn, rachel turns it up the whole race. They know rachels connections likely wont race her in the breeders cup because they dont like the surface, so they ducked her at saratoga, knowing thell never have to face her, and zenyatta will go undefeated for her career the easy way out facing nobody. All i have to say is watch out for some of the other contenders in this years classic like blame and quality road, could give zenyatta a scare to.

You mention these horses from overseas, i see your point, but none of them were winners, just placers, and theres no telling how well they would do here in america, and against zenyatta of all horses. Why did zenyatta choose this race, is she trying to race the best competition, or just trying to stay undefeated at this point for her career? Compare the horses rachel alexandra has beaten in her career, the best in the country, and zenyatta has never raced competition like that EVER!
