I think they should give him at least one more year of racing. they should at least let him retire after a good race. I know I'm gonna miss this guy tearing up the track!

Frankel is a beast. He easily beat CC with an amazing turn of foot. You don't often see that in a 3yo. So there wasn't much traffic, that's what happens when you get to the lead first. And only 3 other horses were entered, but one of them was CC who beat Goldikova, and he didn't even pose a threat to Frankel. JMO.
Does anyone know what Alsab's silks look like? I'm working on a project and want to put a picture of his silks, however I can't find them anywhere. It's hard to tell from the video since its so grainy, but they look white to me. If anyone knows what they look like or where I could find a picture of them could you please let me know. Thanks!
mine that bird actually had a bigger winning margin than barbaro. he won by 6 3/4 and barbaro won by 6 1/2. If anything, i would say MTB win was more impressive coming from way off the pace.I do give barbaro credit for the huge layoff. But I liked Barbaro better than MTB, and is in my top 5 emotionally

I love both Zenyatta AND Rachel Alexandra! Both of them deserve a 10. Going around giving Zen or RA a 1 is ridiculous, just so your favorite mare can be closer to the top! Both of them beat their male opponents. Here's one thing though; look at the quality of the competition they beat. IF you look at the world’s top thoroughbreds and how many colts in the top 20 Zenyatta beat, then look at whom Rachel beat. Z has beat way more of the quality colts, like Lookin At Lucky, Haynesfield, Quality Road, Summer Bird, Gio Ponti, Fly Down, Colonel John, Einstein, Rip Van Winkle, and many more G1 males. The fillies they beat were out of their league, but Z did beat Life is Sweet many times. What fillies stood out that RA beat? People claim that Zenyatta raced only against claimers. I don’t think Life is Sweet, Ginger Pumch, Hystericalady, Switch, and Cocoa Beach are NOT claimers. Granted, Zenyatta did race against lower quality horses. When she did, at least she won, unlike Rachel. Persistently? Zardana? Really? Now Rachel did set track records and win in a dominating fashion, but so did Zenyatta. She closed like a freight train everytime and to only lose by a nose to a multiple G1 winner Blame, was quite an accomplishment. Both of these mares are amazing in their own ways. Both have flaws, both are superstars. Don’t tear down your least favorite just because you don’t like her as much. NEITHER of them deserve a 1. It is just plain RIDICULOUS to give either one of these outstanding mares that low of a rating just to get your favorite closer to the top. Each one is great in their own way, so stop tearing down one or the other.
