Super Saver is a legit colt. No doubt about it. Plus, he's a colt that's been on the improve for sometime as well. But a Triple Crown winner, not likely. Or at least, I wouldn't hold my breath. Especially if he has to face Sidney's Candy or Lookin At Lucky on dry, fast tracks in either the Preakness or Belmont Stakes. I think Sidney's Candy, provided the Belmont track is dry and fast, is perfect for the 1-1/2. I just really think the mud, and trying to go with Conveyance in it, blew his fuse today, IMO. But he's bread, on both sides, for speed and distance. Both sides of his bloodline are multiple Stakes winners at distances from 6 furlongs to 1-1/2. If Joe Talamo gives him the right kind of ride, especially in the Belmont Stakes at 1-1/2, I could see Sidney's Candy really drawing away from the field in that race. That is, unless Eskendereya is back racing by then?
