Brian, you are more exciting than betting the favorite to show. Good luck!
RACHEL: ONCE. PERSONAL ENSIGN: ONCE (3 HORSE FIELD) RUFFIAN: ZERO ZENYATTA: TWICE (BC CLASSIC '09, '10). IS THERE ANY DOUBT WHO IS THE GREATEST MARE IN HISTORY?
LET'S TAKE A LOOK AT THE SCOREBOARD: NUMBER OF TIMES THEY FACED OLDER MALES . . .
Try telling Bob Baffert: "you should not try to enter your horse in a race where you have a decidly advantage!" THAT'S WHAT THE GAME IS ALL ABOUT. All accross America, owners and trainers are trying to find a race that their horse can beat. The Moss' bad decisions also led Zenyatta to be the ALL-TIME money winning mare, just a coincidence, I guess. They shipped her to Oaklawn for the Apple Blossom, nobody including Rachel showed up. You're telling if they shipped to New York for the Beldame, legions of great horses would have shown up? You see, there's a lot of owners and trainers who don't like entering their horses when another one has a "decidedly advantage"
Now Bob46, you said "Zenyatta wouldn't even race int he BC Classic, the Mosses would come up with an excuse!" Bob, don't make another wrong prediction that Zenyatta will not win HOTY. I'm getting tired of pulling egg off your face
CRUGEL, I HAVE TO SAY I ADMIRE YOU FOR ADMITTING YOU WERE WRONG. I almost swallowed my spoon when I read your comments. Hey guys, Crugel is a lot smarter than you all gave him credit for. We can all learn something from Crugel. Now Bob, you kept saying "Zenyatta wouldn't even show up at Churchill". You were wrong again.
I've seen the great queen race 7 more times. She brought life back into the sport in southern California, especially the two Los Angeles tracks. Her BC Classic win last year was my most incredible horse racing moment. But her two wins at Hollywood Park were special too. In her last race, 25,000 people showed up. It was like a Zenyatta festival, everybody was happy, it was a great day at the races. Hollywood is pointed towards the wrecking ball. I'm glad the Queen's last Cali race occured there. Great memories.
Jammin Park, I can't believe the great roll is about to be over! I first saw Zenyatta race in person at the 2008 BC Ladies Classic at Santa Anita. The bond began there. I
Zenyatta finishes. She goes from last to first and is flying at the wire. Hard to think there's any horse IN THE HISTORY OF HORSE RACING who can consistently close as fast as her.
