That's funny, IHATC. Several months ago when you were talking about your family you said you had a wife & a 9 month old son. There was no mention of a 10 yr old. You know the problem with being a compulsive liar is that you need to remember what all the lies were. I don't believe you met Doug O'Neill either. Where would you have met him? At Suffolk Downs?
He actually lost 5, karen.
Sullivan, you said it nowhere? Better go back & reread your posts.
Sullivan, are you kidding me? You still think he won 24 of 26? Try checking Equibase or the National Racing Hall of Fame. Or are those the sites that you think led you astray? Unbelievable.
Sullivan, where do you get 24 wins in 26 starts for Kelso? Oddly enough, someone else got lambasted on this site for making that same statement. Kelso's record was 63-39-12-2. Where do you get your info?
Certain? You have no way of knowing that. Kelso was a great horse and should be ranked higher than he is on these ratings. But somehow, I just can't picture him kicking Secretariat's butt. Or Man O' Wars. I'd like to hear your reasoning on this.
It's very hard to compare two horses from different times. I consider them the top two of all time. Which one was better? I have no idea. They were both great. And BarbaroWire, you didn't even get the lengths right.
Months or years?
IHATC, I think it's great that IHA got your son into racing! How old is he?
I use workouts as a handicapping tool in that if a horse runs a fast work several days before a race I assume he's in top shape. With a slow work I assume he may or may not be. Without inside info that's really the best we can do.
