I think that Havre de Grace may be the better horse. But I like to root for the underdog, so I'm going with Blind Luck.

I don't have posters, but I do have a framed close-up head shot of her next to my desk, where I work.

I disagree with ZATT's Top 10 in two ways: First, Secretariat should be #1 and Man O' War #2; Second, there are no fillies...Ruffian deserves a position in the top ten.

icyhotboo—I agree. And for that matter, who are the "haters" here at HRN? I mean, personally, I'm not rooting for First Dude because I can't stand the story about how he was named. But I don't "hate" him. I haven't seen any vicious remarks against Twirling Candy. So where is that coming from?

icyhotboo—I think I know what you mean about the farther the better for Z. Every time I watch her final race I always think, If she'd just had two more strides she would have won. She was gaining on Blame. And then she could have retired, like Personal Ensign, undefeated. But then, that's what's so great about horse racing...anything can happen.
