I keep watching that finish. Can't believe how much ground AK made up once he had room to run. Could have given Wise Dan a run for his money had he gotten free earlier in the stretch!

I agree. I think he was most impressive today, all things considered. What a comeback! Just hope he doesn't get injured again so we can find out how good he really is.

Actually, I am going for both the Oaks and Derby days, so thanks for that info railbird. So, even though there's no dress code in the grandstands, would nice jeans be fine, or is it preferable to wear khakis and a dress shirt or something similar?

This is not at all about the Derby horses, but I have a question for those who have been to the Derby before. What do people in the grandstands usually wear? I'm a 25 year old guy and will be in the 1st level grandstand. Any recommendations? Just not sure how much to dress up.
