So I think it's an undisputed fact now that Arch is a pretty good damsire--Contested, I'll Have Another, and Uncle Mo, just to name a few. Agreed?
I love both dearly, but It's Tricky is one of my favorites
Alpha adores NY and should give I'll Have Another a run for his money
I think THAS is a no brainer. He likes this distance and LOVES New York like a good Bernardini. I'd throw Caixa Electronica in there somewhere too for a little bit of value
Regardless of whether or not he wins the TC, he'll still go down in history as one of the most underrated horses this decade. No one likes him, for whatever stupid reason
Paytner hasn't really shined in his previous stakes tries, nor do I really think he's ready to take on the likes of I'll Have Another. As for the beyers, they don't matter at all. Beyer was that gave IHA a terrible figure just because he lost money on Bodemeister
Ok, I usually tend to stay pretty quiet on this site, but I've about had it with all this crap about I'll Have Another. He's not just a good horse--he's the best three year old in this year's crop, and he's done a heck of a lot to prove that already. Were we watching the same race today? IHA ran by Creative Cause, a horse that beat him as a 2YO, like he was standing still, and he's beat Bodemeister, whom everyone can't stop drooling over, TWICE now, convincingly both times. What else does he have to do? I'll bet that even if he wins the triple crown, there will be people saying, "oh, but he still hasn't proven that he's better than [insert generic example here]." He's a good horse, people. He's a dang good horse, and I'm really sorry that none of you can see that. Maybe once your blinders have fallen off you'll realize you missed enjoying the campaign of a fine little red horse that nobody ever believed in.
I'm a woman, but I will say that Rosie is gorgeous, much more attractive than Chantal.
Not sure if Baffert will opt for this, but I do agree that the colt deserves a break.
Bodemeister will never beat I'll Have Another unless I'll Have Another gets an awful trip. If Bodemeister runs the Preakness like he's run every race in his life, he's going to lose. I'll Have Another has proven three times now that he can lay off a fast pace and coming flying when asked. I'll Have Another is better than Bodemeister, and time will silence all of his nay-sayers.
