This is part of what the email said from : Dear Brian: Eclipse has had a manic week on the racetrack and in the sales ring. The race action started off well last week when Judy In Disguise put forth a sparkling effort to be 3rd in the $100,000, Grade 3 Senator Ken Maddy, but steadily deteriorated as Battier was a dull 4th in the Grade 3 Discovery at Aqueduct and then all the air was let out of the balloon when Capo Bastone fizzled in the Grade 1, $1 million Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint. Fortunately, all of last week's runners emerged from their races no worse for wear and the trio will be targeting major Stakes races in short order, including our Grade 1 King's Bishop hero, Capo Bastone, who is already back in the NYC preparing for the Grade 1, $500,000 Cigar Mile on November 30th.
I received a email that capo is back in NYC getting ready for the cigar 1 mile.
I agree with shakleford. I think capo could be a great mile horse. I wish they would keep him on dirt.
Not sure why the turf. I know this much he runs very well at santa anita. watch him in person last year!
