Point of Entry is all class and with Johhny V. aboard should be have a real chance to get into the winners circle for the USA in the Euro dominated BC Turf on 11-3. This horse relishes 1 1/2 and was full of run in the Sword Dancer. Euros look out for this one! 5-1 on 11-3 would be a steal.
I agree with you medlocke. With Nathanial not coming over and Acclamation goiing north of the border to skip the BC turf, Caple Blanco may be a possible "single" in BC turf race on pick 3, pick 4 and pick 6 tickets. If he looks good in 1 1/2 he should be ready and well rested for BC. Looks like Treasure Beach may not run until mid - october for his next race. If he does run in BC turf, I would take Cape Blanco over him because he will be fresh, TB wont be.
Will be well rested for BC Juvenile Turf. With Johnny V. aboard, looks like one of the major players.
Twirling Candy can get 1 1/4. Lost by a neck to a star turf horse Acclamation in Pacific Classic by a neck after putting away Game on Dude. Twirling Candy should get 8-1 or higher and be overlooked for BCC. He can get the distance and loves the dirt. Look out for CD BCC possible winner TC.
Prayer for relief is now on my radar as a legitimate live longshot ( should be 10-1 or higher) to steal BC Classic. With Twirling Candy, Havre De GRace, Stay thirsty, Uncle Mo, Tizway, So You Think taking alot of money, Prayer for Relief could be forgotten until he comes roaring down the long stretch at CD. I think Baffert should rest him up to the Classic. Any horse having less than 4 wks. rest coming into any BC race is highly suspect, not fresh.
The Factor won't have to worry about Caleb's Posse. The Factor will end up in the BC Dirt Mile, because unlike most of the sprinters in the BC Mile, The Factor can hold that blazing speed for 1 mile. Could be a possible single for pick 3's, pick 4 and pick 6 on BC day, allowing bettors to load up on all of the other competitive races. Caleb's Posse will be a serious threat in the Sprint. Force Freeze will also be a threat. You heard it here first.
currency swap fought gamely in the slop to win. Will be awaiting the next big 3. majestic City, Creative Cause, Union Rags. 2 injured stars: Jc's pride, overdriven.
zenyatta proved her greatness in last years BC Classic, coming back from 20 plus lengths to get beat by Blame who had home field advantage at CD. Lets hope Havre De Grace is as good, maybe this year a filly will win the BC Classic. Let's all stop talking about Zenyatta. She was a great horse when she raced, now she is retired. Let the current horses shine their own light.
Repole wants to keep uncle mo and stay thirsty seperate. As hard as it is to believe, Stay thirsty probably is better now than Uncle Mo. Certainly He is better at 1 1/4. Look for Uncle Mo to run in and win BC Dirt Mile. And Stay Thirsty if he wins a loaded Jockey gold cup field at 1 1/4 could go off as BCC favorite. What a day for Repole to win 2 BC races with mo and thirsty. Looks like a golden and rare opportunity to single 2 of the pick 6 races.
Caleb's posse is a real player in the BC Sprint or BC Dirt Mile. Probably more dangerous in the spring because the sprint always has fast fractions like the king's bishop had.
