In 'how the race shapes up'... I believe Martin Garcia is the jockey, not Pedroza....who I don't think has ever ridden him.
I really worry about that!
Going to be real interesting when the CHROME returns!! I like both of these colts but so far think Chrome the better of the two..at least as far as who they have run against..yes, Cali racing is going to get real interesting!
Guess I better watch the reruns..hard to figure how a horse had so much trouble in a big field of 4 horses..
tmallios, The fellow on the lead pony is very probably Mesach (?) Tenney, Swaps' trainer.
Can't believe you put his picture on that..you"ll be tarred and feathered now if he loses! LOL!
California Chrome ALL THE WAY!
Toss the ones where the main horses ran in all 3 races...I think its hard enough these days for a horse to run 1 1/2 miles after the Derby and Preakness facing a practically full field of freash horses. I think he can do it anyway and if he does it will be one for the history books..
I have a question for anyone who might know..Belmont would not let IHA run with the nasal strip..have they changed this in case CC goes to the Belmont?
I would think you all might be thinking of maybe having a Triple Crown horse this year instead of trying to figure something to beat him...and why complain about the time? He only went as fast as needed to beat them...seems everyone else went a lot slower...
