On that list I remember several. the first was Proud Clarion-He beat my boy Damascus (3rd) and my dads pick Barbs Delight (2nd). My fav LS win was Charismatic. He's one that would have won the TC if fate hadn't stepped in in the Belmont stretch.
Better yet-What happens when a horse looks him in the eye? That hasn't happened yet. Bet it will in the Derby.
Materiality, Carpe Diem, Firing Line, War Story, Frammento, Upstart and Mr. Z. Not necessarily in that order. My personal Favs are Materiality and Firing Line.
Beautiful snaps!! Ah to have been there doing the same.
Keenland in spring and Saratoga in the summer. Can't get any better.
Not only does she look like Genuine risk. She has the added bonus of being a Virginia bred!!
Which is the good part. Neither is too badly hurt not to return to racing later in the year.
It just hurts more when the two who top your list fall out. So far, my two, Texas Red and FFO, are out. Hopefully, they will both be back before thar is overe ye
I wonder why they stopped the mutual fields. I loved them. they need to bring them back with, say, the 6 longest shots. Canonero II comes to mind.
Like his daddy.
Seems to me Materiality's win was in the gutsy catagory.
