I adore Shackleford, but I think he will no longer get a break in the weights.
I agree, and hope he gets the respect he deserves this year.
I have to admit Easy Goer had my heart in 1989, and Big Brown majorly had my attention even though I never choose him for the Derby. But IHA is bringing the dream alive, and I for one believe in him.
If I"ll Have Another does win the triple crown, I project he will be the first triple crown winner to not go off as the favorite in any of the three races. However if he does win he will prove without doubt he is the REAL DEAL.
Worthy as an also mention..Seattle Slew and AP Indy.
Clearly Hansen needs something changed. We need somebody with skills to calm him down, he's getting too worked up before the race.
SOO sad Bobina broke down in the Senorita today, she fought hard for the win,
Hansen hasn't run a clunker yet, and...I..am not expecting his first today! Hopefully he will be able to harness his speed similar to the Gotham, I think his races have been planned for this.
If Went The Day Well wins the Derby, Proud Citizen could make a sweep! Went The Day Well is no lonshot in my book.
Hansen has never acted up in the post parade th way he did today. I'm not convinced he wasn't bothered by all the antics with his tail.
