Case in point was this one and the crazy gyrations forcing this almost lame animal to run in the Kentucky Derby....Simliar was Wando, a devastating front running dirt monster who the connections tried to get to win on the lawn....Good horse bad connections

It is really suprising how many names are rejected, It has to be a maz of 18 letters and spaces, not reflect any hidden advertising, cannot be the name of a famous living person without their permission (there were horses named Liz Taylor and Joe Namath) and gelding names are allowed to be recycled every 10 years and there is a resource where prospective namers can check to see if a name is already used. Of course they cant be OFF COLOR, but I have seen many get through....Recall how many names were rejected for Secretariat.
