So how much did LaPenta pay for this future Ohio Derby winner?
Word on the street is that Jess Jackson may be buying Eskendereya... you know Zayat needs the money!
Is this for real? Dutrow told the DRF that Homeboykris will train up to the Derby. "I'm not going to run him back until then because I'm afraid he'll blow his race," Dutrow said. "The first time we run him it was off a three-month break, and he ran huge." Has anyone told Dutrow that the Derby is a mile and a quarter, and this horse hasn't won going two turns???
This race sort of got lost in the shuffle with all the exciting races on Saturday... but it was a tremendous race by You and I Forever. This is a horse that has run big races before and could have a big year ahead of him. Either way, he certainly demolished this field in the Gulfstream Park Handicap.
Good point, but I think he was just trying to make something happen. What was up with Schoolyard Dreams turning for home looking like a champ, but then running out of gas.
A shocker!!! Zenyatta's stablemate Zardana beats Rachel Alexandra and you can kiss the Apple Blossom goodbye...
Got it. Yes, that's not good to have a horse tie up repeatedly. Dangerous stuff.
Retired over stomach cramps? What is that?
Great analysis of the Rebel. I think Dublin is the real deal. Significant that he was the only one that made any closing move at Conveyance last time, and he was charging hard. I also like Uh Oh Bango. Not sure if he will be ready, but if he is, I think he tracks the speed and takes over turning for home and then he's in the exacta with Dublin.
So what exactly is the point here? So, now, due to the NTRA's great efforts, anyone that is a racing fan that is not at a racetrack, OTB, watching on TVG/HRTV, or watching on any one of the numerous ADW's all of which offer free video... that those remaining 5 racing fans can watch it on NTRA.com???
