I got into watching stallions as a youngster living in Queens NY (no where close to the BIG A ) by reading The Black Stallions books. So I have been watching stallions go from the track to the breeding shed for decades. I would try to predict if they were going to do well or fall flat. I've come up with quite a few good ones such as City Zip and Distorted Humor. But I've had my failures, Top Knight and countless others.
But Ferrrisjso glad you enjoy the game. It's a great one.
Did I miss it or did Mr. Casse not talk about Catch A Glimpse's future. I'm happy for her to get the break, and don't want him to race her too soon into her 3year old career, but I was just wondering.
this is really going to be fun, and if it is a hit, I know I will be participating every year. Love this concept, love following the stallions. As a matter of fact, the stallions were what peaked my interest as a child (way back when) in the sport itself thanks to the Black Stallion series. Can't wait!
guess I'll have to sit and watch this silly show with my 92 year old mom. I hope she doesn't think I'll continue to watch once Victor is eliminated. (Well, one Victor may be better than we can imagine, and two, it will be cool to enjoy the same TV show that she does for a change.) Good luck Victor!
love the article. those talking heads say things soo unbelievable that I never watch the major network feed until I absolutely have to. Thanks for giving us another prospective.
thanks for jolting my memory :)
Absolutely, and then there is then there is Drosselmyer. Belmont winner and BC Classic. And I am sure there are more I can't remember right now.
Who says Distorted Humor only sires sprint and middle distance horses??
True, true, just try to get a homeless animal a home. By the way, are you a dog breeder? Just asking.
Best of luck to the Moreno family! (Better to adopt, rather than shop for your puppy darling).
