We got ourselves a new Threat in the sprint division! Baffert didn't waste any time to put him against graded company in his three race career. Is he really this good? I believe so!
I'm asking for too much but I would love to see this mare come to the US and watch her put on a show in the BC turf sprint!
It's called the "Great Race Place" for a reason, because it is. This was a great meet and had plenty of fun. Can't wait for the fall meeting when they unveil the Zenyatta bronze statue and host the biggest day in Horse Racing the Breeders Cup! Santa Anita Park is the best of the best!!
I love Creative Cause but this is definitely Bafferts year. Bodemeister seems like a perfect derby horse and ran a full second faster than Alternation. So why try to beat Baffert when he is the hottest trainer this year. Like I said I love CC but trying to defeat Baffert in the KY Derby I believe its asking for too much.
This horse has a shot in the Blue Grass. He romped at Golden Gate in Tapeta surface and ran a nice race at turf in SA, back to poly Baffert poised for a big weekend!
Best American turf horse! He hung a little last time but shit happens. Looking forward to seeing him beasting in Hollywood Park, absolutely my fave!
Gifted filly, loved the way she won and loved her gameness. Peachtree got two unbeaten fillies going into the KY Oaks Mamma Kimbo and Princess Arabella another Beast!
Agree with Zipse. Looks like IHA and CC have faced better than Alpha and Gemologist and I believe they also got more upside than the Wood horses. West Coast taking the KY Derby trophy this year, who will it be? Go Creative Cause!
Sheik has a real contender in Alpha if not for a bad trip I think he edges Gemologist.
Just wondering why Bejarano didn't retain the mount on this horse. I thought Martin Garcia would pick up the mount but looks like Smith will ride. Secret Circle looks most dangerous in the Arkansas Derby after Bejarano stayed on him.
