Guest Suite worked a bullet 5 panels on Feb 14th in 59.40 on Feb 14th at FG.. Locked and loaded.
I think Guest Suite will beat Mo Town in the Risen Star.
I've been following Guest Suite since seeing his debut at Ellis Park and how he has developed since then . Nice gelding and he's still improving .. Neil Howard is a very good trainer.
I'll check it out Mark. I like this horse I bet on him against Classic Empire his last out.
McCracken looked very relaxed and won this race fairly easily. Although I like Irish War Cry, it looks like he may need to be on the engine or very close and that's not the ideal running style to win at Churchill if there are other speed horses in it to pressure the pace. It's too early to really discount any horse yet but the pretenders are starting to weed themselves out slowly but surely. I'm still intrigued by a gelding named Guest Suite who just won the LeComte at The Fairgrounds and has a perfect style and experience and a win at CD. We'll see if he's good enough soon.
Even though I like Wild Shot and this was his 1st race of 2017,I'm not sure he is in the same caliber as McCracken and wondering if he will cherish more distance. He ran a solid race after his layoff but I just don't see him making the Derby field. He is still a very nice horse and I would like to see 1 more race out of him this year before making a determination of my total opinion on him as far as a true Derby contender for whatever that's worth.
Bet him to win and place today.
I went with Tapwrit for win and place bets and he ran a good race with a good place price despite the favorite winning.
I went with Tapwrit win and place bets.. He ran a good one.
Guest Suite continues to work well. He breezed 4F in 47.80 at Fair Grounds on Feb 7th..His time was 2nd best of 25 that worked at 4 panels .I like this gelding .
