I agree with your top choice Laurie. I'm a big fan and believer in this gelding. I saw his maiden race in person at Ellis Park and even though he ran a closing 3rd in a 5 1/2 f sprint , I thought this horse looked special just the way he closed. His only other loss out of 5 races was a 3rd to McCracken in the Street Sense at CD. He can rate, he has won at CD ,FG, and Keeneland, won on a fast track and off track, and has sharp workouts. I hope he shows his stuff in the Risen Star and I'm counting on him running a big race.
Nor was I.
He is the real deal.
It was a muddy sealed track. Go back and look at the last 1/16 th time he ran in that race. 4.36 sec. Enough said. He's the real deal.
Guest Suite, McCraken, Irish WarCry.
Sticking with Guest Suite in the Risen Star with Untrapped 2nd.
Very nice show guys and RIP to Charismatic. In the Risen Star this coming Sat at F.G ,I'm still on the Guest Suite train and I've been there since I saw him run 3rd in his 1st career start in a Maiden Special Weight race at Ellis Park that day. This gelding is improving and he has had sharp workouts in preparation for this start. Even though the odds might be not the greatest I will play him with Untrapped in this race. They ran 1-2 in the Lecomte and could do it again in the Risen Star.
Guest Suite worked a bullet 5 panels on Feb 14th in 59.40 on Feb 14th at FG.. Locked and loaded.
I think Guest Suite will beat Mo Town in the Risen Star.
I've been following Guest Suite since seeing his debut at Ellis Park and how he has developed since then . Nice gelding and he's still improving .. Neil Howard is a very good trainer.
