Bottled up not bootled up. left a t off of just also.
I jus watched the replay Rosario didn't have too much of a chance to get Orb off the rail. When he tried to move up with the top 4 on the backside Titletown Five accelerated on the inside to keep him bootled up as he had a wall of horse to his outside and nowhere to go. Titletown Five did his job for Lukas and helped Oxbows chances in my opinion.
Are they considering entering Normandy Invasion ? Does anyone have any info on his possible start in the Belmont ?
Thanks. When he first told me today I took it he found it after the race and won almost a grand but finally got the story straight and saw how much better it could have been . 12 hour midnight shifts all weekend will make a guy crazy. lol I don't need an excuse like that and everybody knows it already .
I have a good story to tell about yesterdays Preakness. A buddy of mine went to the OTB yesterday and I sent $25.00 with him because I had to work to bet exactas. I lost my $25.00 but anyway I called my buddy this afternoon to see if he did any good in the Preakness and the race card. He said"I got a good story to tell you right off the bat." So he said he found a $60.00 win ticket on Oxbow before the race on the floor that someone had lost. He contemplated keeping it but decided he didn't like the horse and cashed it or cancelled it and bet $20.00 acoss on Itsmyluckyday which he cashed for $125.00 he said but would have cashed in almost a $1,000.00 if he had kept it. He's lucky either way picking up $125.o and it didn't cost him a dime. It could have been so much sweeter though! True story.
Probably be a different winner in the Belmont .
Venting about what Jay? Congrats if you had him. I bet minimal money on the Preakness and thit was all in exactas so not a big deal losing $25.00 to me.I'm just questioning the pace is all. I can see why Titletown Five didn't push the issue beings he was anothe rLukas horse after thinking about it.6 panels in 1:13 and change in a triple crown race on a fast strip. Congrats to the horse and those who were smart or lucky enough to win on him .He was the best chance Lukas had in here to my thinking before the race.
Where was Governor Charlie or Titletown Five ? I was sure they would ensure an honest pace even though they wouldn't last.
There was enough cheap speed to push the pace but nobody did it. Still scratching my head over this race.
