I saw this filly break her maiden at Belmont. She broke very well from the #1 hole, and went wire to wire under a hand ride like a little rocket! I was very impressed! she runs this coming friday at Saratoga, I will be putting some cash on her!
Cedar - I was sitting at the wire in Churchill with my girlfriend just mins before the 8th race, and I had my face lowered into my hands. My girlfriend asked me if I was o.k., I told her that I was saying a prayer that Will had a safe trip. That said, I am concerned as well for the scheduling of the horse, and I don't want them to hurt him by running him . But, this is the nature of racing? Yes?
Cedar - The logic makes sense if you look deeper. I don't think they are losing on purpose, as much as they are not overly concerned if he wins. Running him/training him with fellow horses is probably the best idea ever! and to all that I may have offended by spelling lukas wrong, I am sorry. I'm a Meat-cutter not an english major..Cheers!
Hello Fellow WTC Fans. I have come to a recent conclusion on "our" boy. Lucas and Horton are just running Will around a track. They aren't trying to win, but infact they are training him and getting him ready for the BIG one. Breeders Cup Classic. So, from this point forward I will not net "Our" boy. But come Breerds Cup Day? I will hammer him to win!
Jay S -or Castellano?
Laz - you have a valid point. Jay S - man, I am still beat lol..I'm in my mid-50's, I can't do this running around anymore.
Sullivan - you are right about that, but look at it from a stand point of pure love for a horse. I worked till 4pm on saturday. drove directly from Cincinnati to Churchill 1hour 53 mins. By the time race 8 rolled around, I was exausted, and had to be back ito work at 6am the next day. So - - Second place worked for me!
Cold beer gets my vote!
