99 was challenged by 3 different horses for lead, all speed horse. When challenged Bejarano would give him alittle more reins. They just couldn't keep up. Fear the Kitten is a Dead Closer/Grinder type with no distance limitations, and alot of talent. The two best horses will move on. All the others are servicable and very nice.
Super 99 and Fear The Kitten were by far the best of that field. 99 will be extremely tough, and Fear The Kitten will get extremely tough the longer they go.
The heavy rains predicted tommorow will change everything... How will some of these horses handle the mud being kicked in their face, or the soft sloppy track in general?
