Being that both SB IMLD are both heading for a second meeting in the Florida Derby Im gonna make sure im in south florda that weekend to see it live... I think its great for horse racing....I wasnt surprise however that IMLD won the way he did because of his last race at Gulfstream Park and I believe if he shows he can lay off the pace at 1 1/8 distance and win in good fractions he has a good chance to be showered in roses come the first week of may....
I predict this race to be one of the best races of 2013.. and I believe we are about to witness an upset in the making ....
I like shanghai bobby but not to win the derby and not to win his next race either... Bern Identity will run him down before the wire...Im picking him to finish 3rd...
Being that I picked Giacomo to do the impossible and he made me a very happy man in 05 I must say that was my most memorable... and to think I was at a off track in Virginia giving that bet to everyone and they were laughing at me.... UNTIL the race was over.... it was a great day...

As much as I would love to see Goldencents win the Derby, he is coming up a little short on my derby prospect must haves... I do believe he deserves to make the field and probably will but asking him to win it might be a bit much, and even though I know its early im not sold on Shanghai Bobby either, I dont believe he is gonna be in the winners circle either and I know I have picked at least the last 7 out of 10 derby winners but we will see...
I agree with you 100%, and I give Union Rags his due for crossing the finish line first however IHA would have crushed this competition... I told my brother who is a big UR fan than they need to give Jockey Mike Smith part of that winners earnings because looking at the winning margin if Smith had shut down the rail the way he was suppose to UR rags would have never gotten by him... thats just the truth and UR sure didnt have the kick to catch a healthy Ill have another in the stretch... I really love the sport of horse racing however without IHA in the mix Ive lost interest in the remaining three year old crop.... At least IHA will still get one crown this year after they name him HORSE OF THE YEAR ...
I agree 100%, he has been totally misplaced... I hope this is a wake up call...
