This filly is ranked 272?? Check out her races at WO? I believe she currently has 3 bullets at FG in her last 3 recorded works. Look out boys! We may have to deal with girl power for a 3rd year in a row.
I wish more people in your position would hammer this concept home. I am T-I-Red of hearing people talk of why we haven't had a TC winner in 32 years. They have even gone as far as commenting on changing the brutal schedule of the TC races.....BLASPHEMY!! It is an absolute shame Lookin At Lucky did not get a "reasonable" chance to win the Derby. I know the sport is trying to get more attention....but come on.....is it that hard to figure out that decreasing the size of the Derby field, brings a better chance at allowing a great horse to show his (o.k.- or her) colors?? This is what the sport needs....and it's not about making it easier! Thanks Bill...keep up the good work!
I'm the one who posted the initial comment after watching his MSW run on March 6th. I'd really like to see him skip the ALW and move up, but he just didn't flash that electric zip as he did on the 6th. If I remember correctly in his maiden win a couple weeks ago, the only thing he was flashing was major greenage. He is one of the most striking (looking) colts out there and I'd love to see him skip an ALW and move up....but you may be right, he might need to take it slow on the move up.
His 2nd race...winner! AND a second faster that the one he lost. He didn't have the "pop" he flashed on March 6th- but he beat the winning time in his 1st race by 1 sec. I hope he can go long! would love to see him run in the Preakness!
R U Kidding!! After his amazing performance Sat. Mar 6th 2010 - no one has a comment! I don't believe I've ever seen a horse close faster- everyone....you owe it to this horse to view race 6 at Gulfstream Park on that day. Mr. Wolfson (like you read this crap) please get this horse in position to score for a KD post position. FYI....he is also a "looker"- I have high hopes for this son of songandaprayer.
