That was a little far fetched Tmallios dont ya think? CC was under the spot light the entire time compared to the rest of the field. He was running for the TC, they will be under the spot light for quite sometime. Espinoza was giving his opinion in a interview. Far from classless, Especially compared to Coburn. He took nothing away from the the other horses.
Youre making a mess of the HRN feed. Please go away.
Can he do it? Well, I hope so. Here is some fun facts for everyone. As many of you know, Mr. Prospector and his sons have dominated the Belmont Stakes. In the last 20 years of the Belmont Stakes, 14 of those winners came from the Mr.Prospector line. Out of those 14 winners, 8 winners had a Dam Sire line of Northern Dancer. The interesting part of this to me is, it isnt the same for the Kentucky Derby. Mr Prospector and his sons won 10 of the last 20 years but only 2 of those came from the Dam Sire line of Northern Dancer and the other 8 are random. There are 2 horses this year that fit the mold of the Mr.P/Northern Dancer line... Kid Cruz and Ride on Curlin. Heres the bad or possibly good news for California Chrome. AP Indy sired only 1 Belmont winner (as did Mr. Prospector). Mr. Prospectors line didnt start producing Belmont winners till 9 years later. Its been 7 years since Rags to Riches won the Belmont, so maybe its time for AP Indys line to start producing, But that remains to be seen. Commanding Curve and Commissioner have the same lines as Rags to Riches. Social Inclusion has the same lines as the speedy and tough Afleet Alex. California Chrome has the dam sire line of Mr.Prospector. Mr P only has one horse (Union Rags) that comes from his line as a Dam Sire. I really would love to see California Chrome win, but the numbers tell me other wise. Especially when the Mr.P/Northern Dancer line has been so dominant.
Mr. Prospector only Sired 1 Belmont winner.. But His Line has pretty much dominated for the past 20 years.
Dont know how I didnt give Groovy a mention. He was actually one of my favorites as a kid. Watching Groovy get left behind in the BC Sprint made me sick.
This is a Grade I juvenile race with Storm Cat and Danzig Connection.
I added this tonight after doing some research. I was unable to embed the video. Here is the link if anyone is interested in watching. http://youtu.be/j3LKPbqWxF8
Dang missed it by a nose :(
Hard for me to ever look past a Galileo bred horse in an American race. Or any Europe bred horse for that matter.
