With all due respect, this is pretty useless if you really try to apply it to this year. Consider for debate...I will give you the 5 "deep closers" , as all of them except FuPeg were genuine off the pace types. However, the argument falls apart calling many of the others "closers". Is a horse that runs in the 4th position of a 20 horse field a closer? Hardly. He is beating 16 horses at the 2nd call, that's not a closer by most any definition. I only gave about twenty 10's to the entire list, and she was one of them. There are good horses, great horses, and all time legends. Goldlikova has insured her place in history.

I agree with you on Forego, but you lose credibility by rating Smiling Tiger above Sunday Silence. Hard to criticize anyone's votes with that on your page.
