7, 6, 5, 4. G.L.!!!
Our choice #9-5-7-6. Admittedly conventional handicapping would favor the #1. However one must remember this is just a maiden who broke in commendable fashion with a great speed figure. But making the jump into stakes company is still a big stretch. She may be this good. But until proven otherwise we'll go with the classier #9 Sandy's Surprise in a stalking trip. G.L.!!!
5-1-6-2. Romar Success (5/2) looks to win this one wire to wire under the meets leading rider F. Platt. The seven year old has good works coming off a long lay off but seems to have too much class for this field. Not enough money in it for me. G.L.!!!
This is a tough race in that the rains have been torrential here in So.Cal. Contenders before scratches (which could drastically change things) are #2, 3, 7, 5. The favorite #7 Pearl de Vere is legitimate. The top two are still #2 and #3. Both are listed at 9/2 and are close in the numbers. I would go with the speedier #2 Ceeme Run Wild (9/2). However, take your choice and G.L.!!!
9-1-2-10. The price will be there. However, worry about the front wraps. Hope his legs hold up. G.L.!!!
Racing at S.A cancelled due to bad weather....not surpisingly with the torrential rains that we've had here. See you next week.
5-1-4. El Koreano goes wire to wire at 3/1. G.L.!!!
4-7-3. There is too much speed in the race which gives a big shot to the pick Wealthy Shipman (6/1), the biggest closer in the field with the strongest rider. Just hope horse doesn't lose touch with the field. G.L.!!!
