About me/racing interests:
I have a completely emotionally biased view of horse racing. I try to observe and come away with reasonable ideas, but at the end of the day, I'll like a horse just because I like his name or his owner's story, or his unique markings--the way his shadow roll twists at an uneven angle, I don't know. I'm not a very good handicapper, and I hardly ever place bets, so I don't know why I'm so enamored with horse racing, but I am. I try to be as knowledgeable as possible, and I try to give every horse a fair chance. Like with Presious Passion or Mine That Bird, I understand these might not be great horses, but in my mind, they are. I don't care if anyone else thinks so, and I know the facts--I know they've lost many times, but it doesn't matter. So yeah...I think that's about it. I really love this sport for some mysterious reason, and I love horses, and I love working with horses. So getting to follow some distinct personalities is a great pleasure. I probably waste to much time familiarizing myself with every stakes winner. Ah well, I suppose there are worse ways to waste time. :)

How did I get into racing?
Mine That Bird winning the Kentucky Derby.

Favorite racing moment?
Blame and Zenyatta's stretch duel in BCC 2010.
