Now Baffert has two Empire Makers in the top 300
Ditto Dude run for more green in the Wood and test the colt against grade 1 company instead of makin a bank deposit after the gotham then having a tougher race a month later and then 3 in 5 weeks if a tc run is in order.
Did Sky Kingdom move up in the rankings on this site after the Lewis? A question for any bloggers on the site is Westrock stables known to bet on their horses?
my bad he ran from an outside post 10,11,12
In his previous he ran 2nd in a 1 1/8 race at gulstream which is a hard post to win from at that distance.I read Kenneally told Leperoux that he ran a winning race but lost because of a bad trip(racing luck)thats why his odds were 9-2 instead of morning line of 12-1
Any timing of races is going to be inaccurate so the speed figures will be also,I use the old school way of comparison lengths beaten
Having said this there is also the question of making varients and human error
Beyer has written in one of his books not directly about the shortcomings of the figures. He wrote about a futuristic system that could keep track of the distance each horse actually ran. This is not timed as precisely as a track and field event where the start is staggered allowing the outside runners to get a lead because they are outside.Their is also bumping and stopping in horseracing because there are no lanes.Beyer made a tidy sum when he was the only one that had the Beyer speed figures, now anyone that buys the form has them. There will not be the kind of betting overlays that the numbers revealed when he was the only one that had them.
Bloggers who do you like in this one? Pletcher hopes his colt can steal it on the front.I am looking for value and there is a colt that I like that hasnt broke his maiden yet
