I just don't understand the hype surrounding UR, his performances this year have been dull. He failed to pass a tiring distance limited horse in Hansen as a 2yo and as a 3yo he failed to get by weak horses such as TCI and Reveron in the Florida derby. He only connected the dots in his FOY effort but he beat the weakest of horses in what was more like allowance race than a G2. Not to mention He is given every excuse i n the world for his poor efforts. Despite all this UR is still touted as a "Monster" and you to look as far back to his 2yo campaign to find some decent efforts. I'm ready to conclude that UR hasn't developed enough to compete with the other more competent 3yo's of his generation. So I'm doubting he will pass many horses come belmont.

If there is a triple crown winner this year and i hope there is. I highly doubt it will restore the sport back to the golden days, face it those days are long gone.

well if you can imagine bodemeister not being in the first two jewels he might have seemed a little more dominating but the great rivarly between them has made it more enjoyable for me i'd like to see another match up.
