I'm dissapointed that the egg scratched today, but am also excited at the prospect of meeting shanghai bobby, gulfport, and bern identity in the Holy Bull. I'm hoping to get 10-1 on purple egg and will be seeing him roll late.

Oh, thanks floridaf! I could see Bern beating Bobby at 8.5, but not 8. To be honest, it won't be an easy task for The Egg. He'd be going from 6 furlongs to 8.5 furlongs. If it was at a mile, Bobby would win, at 8.5, it depends on pace.

The holy bull is at 8.5f, many consider Bobby at his best going 8f. Personally i think he could be a dangerous horse even at 9f, most until they run 10f have that question mark, some more than others. It should be an ineresting race either way.

I'm thinking Shanghai Bobby and Bern Identity are building sort of a battle between themselves... almost like Easy Goer and Sunday Silence? I could be wrong, but I think it's going to go back and forth between them for a while. What do you think?

Wait, so Bern might go in the Holy Bull??? I think the Fountain of Youth would be much better for him. No colt will beat Bobby at that distance.... NONE. Bobby will win the Holy Bull by 3 or 4, calling it now.

Damn. I wanted to see him run. But I cant wait to see him in the Holy Bull. That will be a very interesting race. And I agree, Rafirox. Bobby will most likely win the Holy Bull. Yet as much as I love him, I'll be watching Purple Egg. haha

I hope he runs there. Seems like that could be a very telling race. I thought i heard something about gulfport being injured, though. Could be wrong. It should be a good race, even if that one doesn't make it.

The Holy Bull should definitely be an exciting and telling race! Gulfport is off the Derby Trail, though, with a cracked cannon bone.

*feel and I agree rafi! Shanghai Bobby's weakest performance was probaby in the BCJ. He looked a little disinterested, and didn't power away like he usually does. Maybe it's foreshadowing his future.
