*You're" And, hey, thanks for your, as always, insightful and intelligent input on the ACTUAL subject. I can always count on you to resort to playground name calling and logic. Have a great day :)
What?! Lol! I'm not bashing Chrome, for God's sake. I was asking a question...I have never seen the different composition of synthetic referred to as a separate surface. Zenyatta ran at Hollywood Park, SA, and Del Mar, also winning on dirt, but I've never seen it said she ran on 4 different surfaces.. lol. She ran on 2, dirt and synthetic. Quit jumping down my throat for asking for clarification.
Kind of splitting hairs with the synthetic, aren't you?
4 different surfaces? Dirt, Synthetic, Turf, and??? Sand, water, concrete, what is that fourth one?
Are you seriously implying that Jerry Hollendorfer doesn't know how to train a good horse?! LOL
It was on HRN's FB page, I sent a message to the moderator and the comment was removed.
You gave me no reason to be impolite...lol. When it's made personal or my very intelligence is questioned because I don't agree, is when I have a problem. I also feel there's a marked difference between a Chrome fan and a racing fan. Many, not all, Chrome fans couldn't care less about other horse, just Chrome. To the extent that I have seen a self-proclaimed Chromie wish a broken leg on Shared Belief prior to the BC. That is not a racing fan. I have had my reasons for feeling the way I have about his fans, and admittedly, wasn't always nice in regards to them. Fortunately, I've met a few along the way, that I no longer just throw them all into one extremist category. The fact is, all of these athletes risk everything when they step on a track to entertain us, that should always be respected.
Thank you, Laurie :)
Oh here we go....lol.
Maybe that's where things got a little off center. Initially, all I did was directly quote what was said because the question was asked. I admit to being taken aback by the interview and maybe it was an attempt at humor. To be fair, I've not always used the filter between my brain and my mouth, I just hope you can understand how the statements may have been perceived. I don't know you or Steve, so sometimes I can only go by first impression. At any rate, I wish Chrome and your crew safe travels and the best of racing luck.
