An EXTRATERRESTRIAL (in FRANKEL); A LITTLE BRIDGE that goes a BIG, BIG way; A LION of a HORSE (in SO YOU THINK); A CHAMP that's NEVER OLD (in FRANKIE DETTORI); A STAR in the MAKE (in WILLY BUICK); And FINALLY - a ROYAL WINNER (in ESTIMATE) ... now that's my take on this Royal meet so far - and boy what a story to tell!!
Currently raced as PURE CHAMPION in Hong Kong
Not only that - for three years in a row ('09 I Want Revenge, '10 Eskendereya and now Toby's Corner) , the Wood winner ain't even get to the Derby post. Now that's a curse!
Raced as SUPER PISTACHIO in Hong Kong
"Perfection in Equine Form, a Horse of a Lifetime..." I think what Jim McGrath said in the last 50 yards of the Arc play-by-play on BBC pretty much summarized this colt's accomplishments - and appropriately so.
Well said! "ZEN of Arc" - more precisely if I may.
Five words: BRING ON SEA THE STARS. Once and for all, let's do it in the Classic, "WHO IS THE BEST", I think they owe this sport an answer (and so too does Rachel!)
Amid all the rain and longshots, this BIRD still pulls the sun back up in the sky, and brings us one more day of SUMMER.
Horse of the Year, Best 3YO Filly, period. Jesse Jackson should call it for the season now, this one really takes helluva lot out of Rachel, and what else's there to prove? Even Sea the Stars has to come and win the Classic to get her for the Eclipse.
