Why would she be retired? Guys, it's a scratched and bruised hip, for God's sake. Not a broken cannon bone. The fact that her owners scratched her from the race shows that they actually give a damn about her. You know, unlike MOST Thoroughbred racehorse owners who would happily risk their horse's life out of their greed. Eblouissante is being well-cared for and she's very obviously loved by her owners. I'm glad. There's a lot of racers out there who don't get that treatment... and a lot of racers out there who've been killed because of theirs owners' greed. Euthanasia and slaughter house deaths alike. That beautiful filly is one lucky girl.
