Thank you, that helps a lot.
And if the points system has brought qualified horses to the Kentucky Derby, and thereby maybe CC and AP, I am all for it. Thank for your patience.
Thank you very much. I have been wondering how a horse, that won on an Allowance and Listed Stakes level could make the famous Whitney. They must have been pretty sure Liam's Map would be good enough. He ran amazingly. Though I love Honor Code. Can then any horse owner willing and able to pay 20.000 enter a horse?
I have a question, being the newbie that I am. How come, that Liam's Map, great running he did, could get into this race? He had not won anything of importance till saturday and I wonder according to what principle horses are accepted in big races? Me thinks, there would have been lots of Gr 2 winners loving to race in the Whitney? Can somebody please explain?
Honor Code had a workout this morning @belmont. He went 4f in 50:25.
Mr Speaker could be running, he has a right to and a place waiting for him at least as much as some others.
BC Turf Mile? I'm all for it. Poor boy. Could have been him in the winners circle of the Travers.
Feel Mr. Speaker is growing into a nice dirt horse, Maybe the next race or the race after he will score. Surly, if given the chance. Maybe on a dirt mile first?
Does anyone know what the final time of the Belmont Derby was? First they said it is a record time and corrected it later to a time quite slow of over 2 minutes. Wonder how that can be for an important race like that. Wonder whether they would have let the record stand had Toast of New York won. - Hope Adelaide is allright. This last effort seemed a real strain.
mr Speaker was truly better. Lezcano had already started easing him, sure to win, when Adelaide came up. Mr. Speaker started to pick up speed again and wouldn't have given up. Great reace. Both horses very deserving and more than three lengths upfront
So happy! So happy for Mr. Speaker. He deserves it.
