Oh...LOL..I thought you meaning other cooking items...Don't think I need an education of that...LOL
Oh Mary...LOL..Maybe Mike wanted to feel the breeze blowing his hair?LOL :-)
I just saw the race on HRTV...He did OK but the horse that win is a first timer too and he was impressive. Let see how he develop, he is a big boy.
I support the new system because I assume they were doing a full migration with a brand new interface which should be like pulse but with these cool features. But from what I'm seeing, they are leaving it as a hybrid between the two system. This is not good and I support everyone frustration. Come on HRN programmers, complete the job and make your users happy. I think everyone wants to be able to have the same features as pulse(seeing all the comments under the main topic) with the ability to comment right from the main screen instead of having to click on the topic and then be able to add comments.
Mary..I'll trade you, teach me to make brownies and other things and I will teach you everything about computers
Buck...I honestly thought they were going to wipe out pulse and replace it completely with disqus but it seem like a hybrid if this is it. No good man..they need to wipe pulse and add disqus to what hrn is talking about which will give you this interface as the main. Make comments without clicking on the topic.
I'm surprise that their implementation was so unorganized. The should have alert users a month in advance about a downtime for their upgrade. In the mean time, they should have build a completely new system on a testing server. Test and make sure everything works, once they happy with their testing. Bring down their lived server and copy over the new system onto their web server and then bring it up back which will take a shorter time to upgrade. Heck, companies like At&t do it all the time. Disappoint in their poor planning. By bring down the lived server a couple hours, the eliminate the problem of data migration.
LOL...I feel your pain Jay. Lets hope is not a GUI upgrade and a user friendly downgrade.
Thanks Buck...I'm hoping that I'm right too because I see the cumbersomeness of it but they won't be that stupid to upgrade their system half way right?
