Tonalist is going to have an awfully tough time running down Private Zone ... looks like a repeat to me.
Correct on all counts ... Well done, sir! Come back and defend your title next week!
Wow ... That was quick! Jeff, how did you get Event of the Year so fast?
Top four are still solid (2 of the top 4 from the BC Classic, and the top two from a fast Fayette), plus the Ohio Derby winner, the Oklahoma Derby winner, the Alysheba winner, and maybe a mare that has won three graded stakes at Churchill in the last 12 months ... Still Grade 1 quality, in my opinion.
ZATT's Star of the Week, is ... Exaggerator!
I do not see him as a ten furlong horse, no.
Welcome back to a very good horse ... hope he comes back better than ever!
Loved the old handicap triple of the Met-Suburban-Brooklyn. I still remember the afternoon Fit to Fight completed the sweep for Rokeby and Mack Miller. While tough to bring back, especially in different states, considering how so many modern trainers want to space out their horses' racing so much. Having said that ... properly incentivized, I don't see why this could not be done again. Perhaps over a ten-week span from Derby until mid-July ... I have always loved variations of this idea!
No, that is my email address.
