Have to agree with you there cocoa, I don't like these at all.
She has become one of my personal favorites since the Breeders Cup. I can't wait to see what she can do this year.
Everytime I get new favorite horse they are retired! :(
Could someone explain to me why it took them so long to disqualify her from a race that happened over 3 months ago? Shouldn't they of known before now if she had been given the drug?
On the subject of baby Z I have to agree with Armada, rather an ugly duckling at the moment. I don't know much about judging horse conformation but he looks disproportionate, hopefully he grows out of it. A lot of other animals have a lanky teenage stage they go through, hopefully this is just his.
I totally do not want to be a grammar nazi but the correct word would be CONFORMATION. Better me say something than tv see it and have a fit lol.
Hey I was just getting ready to post this! lol. She looks amazing!
I can't believe I forgot poor Swale won the Belmont too and Bold Ruler won the Preakness (of all horses to forget) geez :). I was quite pround of myself since I got most of those from memory and skimming a list of the winners of the triple crown races. I don't know much about Count Fleet or his babies unfortunately which is probably why I missed them.
Gallant Fox and Omaha, father and son who won the triple crown. Man O' War - War Admiral, Preakness and Belmont. Polynesian - Native Dancer, Preakness. Seattle Slew - Swale, Derby. A.P Indy - Rags to Riches, Belmont. Birdstone - Summer Bird, Belmont.
