What's up with this horse??? 2 scratches in a row on days with fast track & good weather against relatively low level competition!

Aces N Kings running in $30K Allowance turf race at Lone Star this weekend. Perhaps getting ready for Lone Derby which is also on the turf. I wonder if ownership gave up on bigger future for him a little too soon? Tejera back on board. Only 2 races out of the money were without Tejera.

I've heard they're not looking at big races for him. Can't figure that out considering only 1 bad performance & that due to bad choice on jockey change. What's next since Grindstone cancelled due to weather?

Why the change in jockey? Never finished out of the top 3 w/ Eguard Tejera on board. Starting from the post 1, I hope the new jockey gets him off the rail!

Hopefuly that dreadful decision to put Calvin Borel on Aces at Delta Downs won't kill it chances at big things.

Won agaist lower competition in the Groovy Stakes (7 furlongs) to get back on track. I hoped to see him in the Smarty Jones. Perhaps cold weather kept him away??? Nevertheless, Aces has defeated BOTH the Win & Place horses from the Smarty Jones. Maybe we'll see him in the Southwest?
