Agreed, it was nice to see him challenged a little bit but win regardless. I liked his movement, too. Not too high and "clawing" like the majority of runaway 2YOs. He stretched out a little.
Speed over speed, but gets stamina from the damsire and further back on the distaff line.
Was my pick based off looks alone, and man did he run. Definitely wont be forgetting him
2YO horses are like guys -- don't settle for the first one you get. There's always something better
Heaven forbid he turns into a Belmont winner.
I bought shares a long ways back, when it was less expensive than it is now.
Fixing to get his first timed work in a couple weeks.
Agreed with jmac. I love watching them grow into themselves as the year goes on. I don't actually expect to find the Derby winner this early on, but I do enjoy speculating what these will turn out to be.
Tmallios: if he comes out of the race well, do you know if Vyjack will be pointed toward the Preakness, or allowed rest? So many nice horses have a disastrous day at the Derby, and year after year they come back to do great things elsewhere. I'm still certain he is dangerous.
Darn. My iPad went crazy, sorry. Point is, I like the horse.
