My thoughts exactly, is anybody really surprised?
The fun part now is seeing which BC race Private Zone enters.
If he heads to the classic, I expect AP will retire early.
The easiest way to beat a Baffert horse is to throw a little legitimate speed at them.
He Just isn't that good,
Wasn't last year either.
Look at every race he has even run in,
unless he get it set up PERFECTLY for him, at the expense of other horses or not -
He jut flat out doesn't run.
Has been an easy, easy toss in 90% of his races this year and last.
Once again, not even a factor.
0-4 in graded stakes for the Kentucky derby card with two pretty strong betting favorites
Just sayin'. I don't see his luck turning around, unless he decides to make his own luck like he did in the BC classic. I wouldn't put it past him.
I'll wager $10 Zenyatta's spawn doesn't even hit the board.
Lol, thank you for posting smokey I needed a good laugh today and almost everything you posted is borderline hilliariously wrong. What every one seems to be missing here is that this is a distinction for ACTIVE horses that have run since jan 1st of this year. Of couse there is no zenyatta. Of couse it is missing many big name other horses because.they.have.not.run.yet.this.year. No one is saying he is the best to have even run. While I don't see the distinction ending anytime soon, should he loose next month, I am sure he will loose the title. And when he does you and the rest of his anti-party can throw a celebration. I don't get while so many people like to get up in arms when ever this horse is praised. It is like a personal afford to them , their children and their, dogs. Unfortunately good horses are like good authors, artist etc. it is often after they are gone and retired their true genious is reatlized. I Promise you now, that SB will be in immortalized I his retirement and will be finally realized as the horse that he is. You are looking at the horse that all others from this decade will be looked at in comparison , I am calling it now.
So remember than 70-1 shot that SB 'labored so hard to beat' what a dud he's turned out to be -_- what say the nay Sayers now ?
Seeing as there are about 3xs as many dirt races as Poly races, why would they not run him on both. Especially if they want any award of any kind any year they HAVE to run him on the dirt - and guess what he still wins. Surprise. Sorry he doesn't win by 10 + lengths every time. I don't believe batteries were included in his anatomical assembly. He is not a machine. He isn't going to win an award this year. Even his staunchest fan will admit to that. Enough. People be damned that they are happy he ran a good race. I don't understand.
This horse would have to win by 15 lengths to even slightly impress you, We get it.You don't have to post a degrading post EVERY SINGLE time he runs.
