Great work Jasen, I'm glad someone addressed this. The sport gets a black eye the way it is, it's time we held the people making these decisions responsible.
Arlington has quickly become my favorite track to play turf racing. Silver Max was a gift, but, the tri still paid almost 70.00 that's great value!
This is pretty good, you would do well on Hrtv.
When you posted on the question on FB, I believe me and Garnet were the only two who said He definitely could win the Preakness. The race was playing towards speed and the track was ultra fast. Yes, Bodi's race was very good, but, I believe it took a lot more out of him than it did I'll Have Another. IHA is so tactical that he will always have a chance to win. I wouldn't be surprised to see him with the Preakness for fun.
WOW, good stuff! Cisco is unreal!
Great piece! I just see a lot of games being played on both sides. I feel if Jones and Porter really wanted to win the Apple Blossom they'd run. As good as Plum Pretty was in the Oaks, she was less than stellar in the Breeders' Cup. Havre De Grace is 5 to 8 lengths better than Baffert's filly, so the 6 lbs wouldn't matter a bit. In my opinion. I just miss the glory days when a horse could carry 136 and beat his or her competition.
Makes me wish I was older, some times it feels like I've missed out on witnessing the glory days.. Beautiful story.. amazing horse.
Nice job, Chris! Wish I could be there.
I loved, Loved, LOOOOOOOOVED Hard Spun. Man, I wish he would of had a chance to run on turf!
My life changed when I started "Tracking." There is nothing better than hanging with your friends watching your favorite horse run his or her heart out. I still remember June 12th, 2010 that was my favorite day Trackin, It started with me and Tiz meeting up at Mcdonalds, onto Churchill downs for a morning cap'n session with the great Ernie Munick, a meeting with Zipse and Mike Moss. Screaming our hearts out as Rachel embarrassed The Fleur De lis field with several Zipse's yelled to the winner's Circle.. Ending with Ice Cold Trifecta's courtesy of Tim (Tiznow) Reynolds.
