From an article today "An examination come daylight by vet Peter Angus and chiropractor Michael Bryant revealed two muscle tears and a haematoma are the battle scars of her 22nd win" and also "Bryant, who has treated Black Caviar throughout her career, said on a scale of 1-5, she had a grade-four tear of the quadriceps and a grade-two tear of the sacroilliac." she raced with that and won, yet people continue to down grade her and call her overrated. Pathetic.

it is almost impossible to name any horse that could run with Dr. Fager in his prime... horses like Secretariat and Ruffian would have a hard time let alone Frankel.

BLack Caviar tore muscles in the Diamond Jubilee. She will be treated for it. She also tore muscles in the Danehill stakes where she won narrowly because of it. Muscles torn, a jockey error, new track and still won. Wow, people can still keep trying to drag her down, but you cant take away from her everything shes accomplished and what she has have to suffer through and handle to do it. A Champion!

Exactly!! Black Caviar travelled all that way, and was on a different track, that is no where near as smooth as aussie tracks, and then her jockey doing what he did! she is an amazingly great horse and i think she showed that more tonight in the jubilee then she ever has!

Okay now, lets not start this argument. Black Caviar is a responsive horse. She listens and feels her jockey. Luke nolen said go in the jubilee, and she did, but then he misjudged and stopped riding her, but as soon as he realised his mistake, he urged her again, and she responded IMMEDIATELY! She got herself to the line!! No one took from Zenyatta when she only won by a head in the clement, or when she lost by a lead in the breeders cup! So why try and take away from Black Caviar who won despite that horrible jockey mistake!

This mare has got so much game and strength! She races with dominance and through pain! In the Danehill stakes when she was just a 3 year old, she stumbled badly out of the gate and TORE a hell of a lot of muscles in her chest but still won! she has known leg problems and an offset knee yet she still runs with the power and grace she does! No one can take away from Black Caviar what she has accomplished! 21 starts 21 wins, 11 group 1s, multiple records! No matter what anyone says, Black Caviar is a once in a life time horse and she is leading a nation just like the great Phar Lap before her! and if some people are too stupid to see how great she is and what a fighter she is, well then thats their loss! Black Caviar is a champion and she has already more then once proven herself to be one!!
