Still wary of this horse. The mud and pace moved him way up. Regardless, great performance by Exaggerator, but I can't take it without questioning.
John knows what's best, not you. "works like he wants to run" huh? Where are you getting that from? Unless you work with the horse personally and know his habits, I can only think you're saying what you want to think is true. Word on the backstretch is this horse isn't ready yet. He will run when he is ready, John isn't catering to you, me, the fans, just the horse. He doesn't care if Coz makes the Triple Crown or not. I'm even skeptical that he's going to be a stakes horse, because frankly, no matter what his breeding is, the odds are against him. No matter what we do or say, it won't make John run him any quicker.
Working steadily at Palm Beach, hope he's a good one.
Let's try and be patient, John knows what's best. Patience is key, they're only doing right by the horse.
Don't focus on time. Z frequently worked 5f in around that same time, but so do other horses. Claimers, G1 winners alike.
Really hope he wins the Classic.
I know he doesn't, I was just worried that he suffered a setback or something. Thanks for the reply! Do you happen to know where he is currently located by any chance? Looking forward to seeing him race, whenever that may be!
Any news on this guy? No recorded workouts.
Very interested to see how this one debuts tomorrow.
He was very valiant in defeat, and he lost no respect from me. I think the foot irritated him a lot in the race, but a mile and a half is probably what did it. Hopefully he rebounds at the Breeder's Cup.
