I was so sad to hear this horse had to be put down. You have to wonder, why do so many thoroughbreds break down these days? I love horse racing but it seems like we lose horses all the time to nothing but broken bones. It's like their legs are not strong enough to stand the stress of racing. So sad!

Prayers for GR today. I hope all goes well with his surgery and recovery.

Any word on how he is doing this morning? y

I'd love to see an update too. was wayching the race on TV yesterday when he went down. I actually woke up in the night worried about this horse!
