did he miss another work?
1,000% agree, Mary. The real question is, how do we get people hooked? Like you said, once a person realizes the beauty of the sport they are in for the long-haul. Completly agree with the television broadcasts as well.
I did not grow up in racing, I did not grow up near a racetrack. I grew up watching racing on the tv screen. I absolutley loved the sport from the moment I saw it on the tv screen. Since then, it has been my goal to work within this sport and help reinvigerate it. Due to the fact that I did not grow up at the racetrack I knew I would have to gain a point of entry into the industry, which is why i picked the RTIP at Arizona. It is my goal to help re-establish racing into the mainstream public, and I believe to start that process the game must be changed from the ground up. Newer bloodlines need to be established in North America, and our breeding program needs to be integrated with that of Argentina, South Africa, Europe, and Australia. Horses too often noawadays are bred to run 6f and are forced to stretch to 10. Due to this injurys occur. If greater stamina and new bloodlines are established then the first step towards a brighter future can be accomplished. Maybe a triple crown winner can be born, maybe that triple crown winner carries the sport into mainstream public, and maybe the great sport of horse racing thrives among the American public again. I find it insulting that you are criticizing me due to the fact that I am trying to get an education so I can help the sport I love thrive in the future. I am just a normal guy, who loves this sport incredibly, trying to make a difference. Although the breeding aspect is one of many that needs to be changed, I believe re-structuring it can help start the process.
I'm a current student at the RTIP in Arizona, and the input from all of you has really helped me formulate what I think of the industry now. As I go on into my career, in either breeding or training I hope to keep all of the peoples opinions about the sport in mind, which are reflected on this website, so that we can help the great sport of horse racing endure and reach greater heights as we advance into the future.
Really liking the potential distance pedigrees rising this year.

So did he miss a work?
Storm cat sired giant's causeway who was successful at distance races. Stamina does not primarily just come from the damside. It can be passed by Sire as well. There is no doubt in anyone's mind that this horse wants distance.
Then how do you explain Barbaro?
