Premier Pegasus has natural speed as he displayed during 2 and a push button kick that he showed at 3..what's there not to like? He's my first pick to win not just the SA Derby but KY Derby as well, followed by Mo and The Factor.
I agree blooy...when the pace was sizzling..Pegasus was content to say behind and make his run after the 1/4 pole...if the pace is not fast in the Ky Derby or in SA Derby..I can see him being versatile enough to stay up closer (if need be) and still make a nice kick home.

Quoted in DRF: Riveting Reason, second in the Grade 2 Robert Lewis Stakes in February in his most recent start, has been turned out for the spring with a hoof injury, according to Maria Ayala, assistant to owner-trainer Myung Kwon Cho.
Couldn't agree with you more. I had my eye on him since his maiden start. Looks like two turns is what he was looking for. I do think he is the top West Coast Contender for the KY Derby for now. I wonder where Mr. Cho will start Riveting Reason? I'm sure he'll want to split the two on the road to the Derby.
PrePeg romped! Looks like top contender for SA Derby and Kentucky Derby. Definitely one of the top contenders in the nation and leader of the West Coast contingents for Derby.
