Sudden Surprise will try two-turns in his three-year old debut this Saturday at Aqueduct.
Their aiming for a spring campaign...He's expected to return to Pletcher's barn early February
Encountered trouble mid-stretch, but still got up time to win the Ginger Brew! 3- for -3 now
That's cause I had a feeling that he wasn't being pointed towards the derby, but wasn't sure...He'll likely remain against NY-Breds. and maybe they'll eventually try longer distance with him, but right now, it's obvious that his best distance is 6-7 Furlongs
As I said before, the derby isn't a goal for Sudden Surprise...Pletcher's Assistant trainer Bryon Thomas said that he'll remain on the ''NY-bred Trail' when he returns in 2016
Sudden Surprise wins for the 5th time in 6 starts
Just because he didn't finish in the money, doesn't mean he can't get a mile or longer...Velazquez said he didn't fire at all during the Sleepy Hollow. Pletcher may not point him towards the derby, but who knows
Dame Dorothy will be bred to Curlin
He's not undefeated anymore....His lone loss came in the Sleepy Hollow Stakes
According to DRF he has been confirmed, unless connections changed their minds
