After nearly a nine month layoff Bench Points is entered in a $100,000 optional allowance race to be run May 24th at Hollywood Park. Four of the horses in the field have won stakes races with two horses being past graded stakes winners - Bench Points being one of them. Including Bench Points four of the horses are near or well over the $300,000 lifetime earnings mark. The field has 29 career wins between them.

Bench Points remains unbeaten and gained his fourth victory Friday when rallying to win Santa Anita’s $64,960 The Gum Purse by 1 ¼ lengths over 3-10 favorite Da Ruler in the six-furlong event for 3-year-olds which was run in 1:08.22. Bench Points has rallied from last to first in each of his four winning starts.
