I just cant get it right. The 1 was 7-2 but still he was the 2nd choice. I would not have expected him to be at lower offs then the recent G1 winners in that contest.
correction, the 1 entry was 4-1 also.
He may have gone off at 4-1 but he was the no.1 choice at post time. The Ramsey's entry went off at 9-2 i believe.
So classy to close into a dead pace!
He is nominated to the Jamacia this weekend at Belmont.
travel_vic, where are you getting Oxley? He is SSF.
Why face older horses on a less preferable surface when he can go on the turf against his age group in G1 group he can compete with? The Jamacia is the smart move i think.
The main problem that i have with a points system is the fact that G1 horses often dabble between G2 and G3 races as preps for their major starts. Now take into account that there may be a few G1 winners in the field of a G2 race. At this point would we give G1 points to a G2 race? It just seems odd.
*offense..... then again i suppose the correction is dependent on what english dictionary you use.
