You made me cry......I do adore her.....get well momma.....your baby needs you.
My hat is off to these great horses....all of them....including ones not mentioned....just to get to the BC is a feat of grit and talent and heart. Thanks to all!
I've had the good fortune of growing up in the show world with Mr Matz as an active and honored horseman. He is truely a warm and polite man that graces every horse he touches. He is a modest man and a hero in many ways.
I'm going to my first BC. I wanted to see some of the canceled horses but mainly to see the Juvaniles and Goldikova......of course UM, HDG and the euros.....LIVE. I am very excited about it~!~!
Downs, but will be there for the BC......so pick a place and time and all the Horse Racing Nation fans, like me, will be there!
I've never been to Churchill
He is the <3 fan <3 favorite and has been my shining star for this entire bumpy road. I'm going to the BC just see him in person. He is a horse of the ages.
RIP little man..... <3 with tears......
I have freinds that pay 5 figures for the priviledge of buying Eagle tickets. This seems like a small pittance compared to that.
I post on my fb page about racing and have a few new fans and am connecting with some like minded fans. I agree with all of the above. The tracks need to step up and offer some fun things....most women love big hats, but don't know how to bet. So how about having beginner bet groups at the tracks. How about a get to know the horses group at the tracks? More charity. Ask the charity groups to get involved . How about a chili cook off showcased at a track? Who are the people doing the promotions....and what can we as fans do? Whew....great and thought provoking article.
