Frankel won 4 Group 1's(vs the BEST at this distance) and a Group 3 at the start of the year. Dross won one GR1 and a Listed stakes......but also finished behind ( A sprinter) Jackson's bend in the GR3 Skip away....this horse is not of the same Caliber. Frankel beat how many multiple GR1 winners?.......beating a sorry Dirt field in the last Classic doesn't propel you to the top...
Plodders like Dross should not be included in the same breath as Frankel, or Nelly. Tampa BC has how many more races then Frankel because of age???. Apples and oranges people. Dross ran one of the slowest BC Classics in history, and since Turf racing is the most popular surface world wide Dross was lucky to even get #14.
